Modern, not trendy
Open layouts, full-height cabinets, big islands and finishes picked to still look right in ten years. We build kitchens for how you cook and gather, not for a photo.

Lake Highlands, Dallas · Since 2014
Whole kitchens, bathrooms and whole-home remodels across Lake Highlands, Lakewood and the neighborhoods around White Rock Lake. One owner on your job from the first measurement to the last walk-through.
Tired of the big-box runaround?
Most remodels in Dallas go through a salesperson, a project manager and a crew that has never met the person who sold you the job. Hank’s works the other way around. The owner measures your kitchen, writes the price and runs the crew. Nothing gets lost between the person you talked to and the person swinging the hammer.
That is how we have built kitchens, bathrooms and whole homes in Lake Highlands and East Dallas since 2014. Modern layouts, clean lines and real materials that still look right ten years on.
How Hank worksSince 2014 in East Dallas
A small crew, a short list of jobs each year, and the owner on every one of them.
Why people call Hank’s
01
Open layouts, full-height cabinets, big islands and finishes picked to still look right in ten years. We build kitchens for how you cook and gather, not for a photo.
02
The people who demo the room are the people who set the last piece of trim. No strangers wandering through your house, and no hand-offs where things get lost.
03
Lake Highlands ranches, Lakewood Tudors and 1960s Casa Linda one-stories all hide different surprises. We have opened enough of them to plan for what is behind the drywall.
What we are built for
The three jobs we do most, each one planned and run by the owner.

The job this company is named for. We take walls down, move the sink to the island, run new electrical for the range and build the kitchen around the way you actually cook. Full-height cabinets, quartz or stone counters, modern lighting and a layout that finally has room for everyone. Most kitchens in Lake Highlands and Lakewood run four to eight weeks on site.
Call about your kitchen
Primary baths and hall baths rebuilt from the studs. Walk-in showers with proper slopes and glass, freestanding tubs where the room allows, double vanities, heated floors and tile set straight. We redo the plumbing and the lighting while the walls are open, so the finished room works as well as it looks.
Call about your bath
When the kitchen is only the start. We open up floor plans, connect kitchens to living rooms, rebuild baths and redo flooring and lighting through the whole house in one planned run. One crew, one schedule, one owner answering for all of it. A favorite with Lake Highlands ranch houses that want a modern plan without moving.
Call about the whole houseEverything else we build
Big jobs only. Additions, outdoor rooms, exteriors and new homes, with the same crew and the same owner.

More square footage built to match the house. A primary suite out the back, a larger family room, or a full second story.

A backyard apartment or a converted garage with its own kitchen and bath, for family, guests or rental income.

Covered patios with a real cooking line, bar seating, ceiling fans and lighting, built for Dallas summers.

Stone and concrete patios, retaining walls, walkways and pool decks that tie the yard to the house.

Whole-house window replacement, bigger openings, and sliding or folding patio doors that bring in the back yard.

New siding, stone, paint, a modern entry and fresh trim that make a 1960s house look like it was finished this year.

Ground-up homes on your lot in East Dallas, planned and built by the same owner who runs our remodels.
The owner on every job
Hank started this company in 2014 with one rule. The person who sells the job builds the job. Here is what that means for you.
01 · Measures
Every kitchen and bath is measured by the owner, on site, before anything is drawn or priced.
02 · Prices
The scope and the number come from the person who will build it. No estimator, no markup passed down the line.
03 · Walks
He is on site through the build and does the final walk-through with you. If something is not right, he is the one who fixes it.
How a job runs
From the first phone call to the day the crew loads out, this is how every job at Hank’s goes.
01
Call Hank. He comes out, looks at the room, listens to what is not working and takes the measurements himself. You get a straight answer on what is realistic for the house and the budget.
02
We draw the layout, pick materials together and hand you a written scope with a price beside each line. You sign off before anything is ordered.
03
Demo, framing, plumbing and electrical, drywall, tile, cabinets, counters, paint. One crew, in order, with the owner on site and a schedule you can see.
04
Hank walks the finished room with you, works through the punch list and hands the house back clean. Then you cook the first meal.

Kitchen, two baths, flooring and lighting through the house in one run.

Most full kitchens in Lake Highlands and Lakewood take four to eight weeks on site once materials are in. Whole-home jobs run longer. Hank gives you a dated schedule before work starts, and it is the same schedule the crew works from.
Usually not for a kitchen or bath. We seal off the work area, keep a path through the house and set up a temporary kitchen corner if you want one. For whole-home jobs we talk it through up front.
Hank and his crew, the same people from demo to hand-off. Trade partners for specialist work are people we have worked with for years, and Hank is on site when they are.
That is most of East Dallas, and most of our work. Older slab foundations, cast-iron drains and shifted framing are normal here. We plan for them so they do not become surprises.
